Everpure's 7CB5-S is a replacement water filter that is a 5 micron carbon block. It is for coffee and ice machines and has a capacity of 10,000 gallons. This commercial water filter will provide you with the highest quality of ice while lowering maintenance costs and down times. It will also reduce service calls while increasing customer satisfaction and profit. If you have high turbidity or are in a low pressure area, this is the water filter for you. It is intended for scale inhibition, chlorine reduction, and the removal of bad tastes and odors.

This ice and coffee water filter replacement is NSF approved and is backed by a one year warranty on defective workmanship and materials. The filter attaches to a filter head and the water enters the top of the filter cartridge. Then, it flows down into the filter chamber and the incoming pressure forces the water through the filter membrane. Lastly, the water channels up through the filter membrane and then out of the water filter system. The carbon blocking water filter cartridge should be changed every 6 months or when the water pressure drops below 10 psi. Make sure that you leave a 2 1/2 inch clearance below the filter for easy replacement, and flush the new cartridge with the water on high flow before you use it. If you do not change the water filter at the appropriate time, the water could channel through the filter without getting filtered, or the filter might become clogged.
