Description 

The 4CB5 is one of Everpure's many carbon blocking replacement water filter cartridges. It is NSF approved and is backed by a one year warranty on defective workmanship and materials. This 5 micron carbon block filter is very sanitary and minimizes contamination. It should be changed every 6 months or when the water pressure falls below 10 psi. Allow a 2 1/2 inch clearance below the filter for ease of replacement and flush the new cartridge on high flow before you use it.

This commercial water filter is the problem solving cartridge for you if you experience high turbidity or low water pressure areas. It also removes chlorine, inhibits scale, and removes bad tastes and odors. In addition, this carbon blocking water filter provides better quality ice, reduces service calls, lowers maintenance costs and down time, and increases profits. The replacement cartridge attaches to the filter head and water enters the top of the filter cartridge. Then, it flows through the inlet tube to the filter chamber freely and evenly. The incoming pressure forces the water through the filter membrane where all the contaminates such as chlorine and particles are removed, and then the filtered water channels up the filter and out of the system.

If the water filter is not changed when it is scheduled to be changed, a number of bad things can happen. The filter can become clogged, and then you know that the filter needs to be changed. Or, the water could channel through the filter without getting filtered, and you would be completely unaware. Also, the filter could dump carbon sludge and other contaminates back into the water or simply become exhausted and allow contaminates to pass through it without being absorbed.
