The Everpure OCS-2 is a replacement water filter for coffee filtration systems. It is NSF approved and is backed by a one year warranty on defective materials and workmanship. When installing your commercial water filter, be sure that you allow a 2 1/2 inch clearance below to ease replacement, and you need to flush your new cartridge for three minutes with the water on full flow. Your water filter should be replaced every six months or when the pressure drops below 10 psi. When water filters are not replaced, it can cause the filter to be clogged or the water to channel. Also, dumping sometimes occurs, which is when the filter dumps carbon sludge and other contaminates into the water.

Because this water filter cartridge is rated at .5 microns, it can remove all particles that are .5 microns or larger to provide safe and healthy water for making coffee. It measures 10.25 inches in height and 3.25 inches in diameter, and it has a capacity of 1,500 gallons, so it is for low flow, low volume coffee brewers.
