Description
This Hobart peeler peels 15-20 pounds of potatoes in one to three minutes. This peeler comes standard with a 1/3 HP motor with manual reset thermal overload protection. This machine also has a 4 minute timer. This unit has a 14-3/4'' diameter light weight fiberglass reinforced plastic disk with a silicon abrasive and is permanently bonded for high volume usage. The disk is easily removed for cleaning purposes. It has a heavy-duty molded polyester, plastic lock-in hopper cover as well. The speed reduction between the motor and the disc drive on this machine is obtained directly through a dual V-Belt. The advanced design sealing prevents the entrance of water into the shaft bearings.
