Description 

This peeler comes standard with a 1 HP motor that features manual reset overload protection. The switch on this unit is a manual tubular type and is located on the right side of the chute, but can be relocated to the other side of the chute if needed. This peeler peels 50-60 pounds of potatoes in one to three minutes and has a synchronous 5 minute timer as well. The advanced designed triple protection sealing prevents the entrance of water into the shaft bearings. This unit also has a gray molded, heavy-duty hopper cover that has an opening that helps you monitor the product being peeled. The extremely lightweight fiberglass reinforced plastic disk is 20-1/2'' in diameter. The silicon-carbide abrasive is permanently bonded to the disc assuring longer service of the machine. The disc can be easily removed by removing the lightweight hopper cover. The two angle mounted wipers provide positive movement of waste into the outlet. The inlet of this unit is the air-gap type and is mounted at the rear of the peeler unit. This design promotes interior self-cleaning and forms a water curtain that is made to prevent undesirable splash. The peeler and the peel trap of this unit are glass-beaded stainless steel and the plastic molded hopper cover is gray. The bottom of the peeler unit is cushioned in rubber trim molding.
