The GDM-12 is a True brand, glass door merchandiser. This refrigerated merchandiser has a capacity of 12 cubic feet and measures 24 7/8 inches in length, 23 1/8 inches in depth, and 62 3/8 inches in height. The exterior of this food merchandiser is made of non-peel or chip white laminated vinyl and the entire structure is foamed-in-place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The interior is NSF approved white aluminum and has a 300 series stainless steel floor. The welded, galvanized, heavy duty frame rail is fitted with leg levelers and is dipped in rust inhibiting paint enamel for protection against corrosion inside and out. There is also a door sign decal and a variety of options are available for this. This true GDM has one “Low E,” double pane, thermal glass door with an extruded aluminum frame. This self-closing, positive seal door is fitted with a 12 inch long extruded aluminum handle and has a torsion type closure system. Inside this refrigerated merchandiser are three adjustable, durable, PVC coated, wire shelves that are 20 5/8 inches in length and 17 ½ inches in depth.

The refrigeration system in this food and beverage merchandiser uses CFC free, 134A refrigerant and has an extra large evaporator coil that is balanced with a high horsepower compressor and a large condenser to maintain a temperature of 33ºF to 38ºF. The evaporator is 20%-40% larger than factory standards to provide a faster pull down of product temperatures and a quicker recovery time. There is also a sealed, cast iron, evaporator fan motor that has a life expectancy of 15-20 years. This fan motor is matched with larger fan blades to insure a consistently colder temperature throughout the whole cabinet. Another excellent feature in this merchandising refrigerator is the oversized condenser coil that dissipates heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle. It is really important to clean the condenser coil and the fan blades every thirty days because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure.

This swing door merchandiser contains safety shielded fluorescent interior lighting and utilizes electronic ballast and T-8 bulbs for brighter illumination, longer bulb life, and increased energy efficiency. There is a convenient clean-out drain that is built into the cabinet floor and this food merchandiser is NSF-7 compliant for the storage and display of packaged and bottled products. A 9 foot cord is included and ready for final connection into a 115 volt NEMA configured outlet. Optional features can be ordered as well, such as chocolate thermostat, barrel locks, or additional shelves.
