The True TUC-27F is an front breathing, undercounter freezer designed with the best quality material to provide you with colder temperature, lower utility costs, and excellent food safety. This one door commercial freezer has a holding capacity of 6.5 cubic feet and contains two PVC coated wire shelves which are 23 ¼ inches in length and 16 inches in depth. Four chrome plated shelf clips come included with each shelf and these shelves are adjustable on ½ inch increments. The pilasters that support each shelf are made of NSF approved white aluminum and this material is used on the inside walls of the cabinet as well. The entire cabinet and the solid door are foamed in place with CFC free polyurethane insulation. There are 5 inch in diameter stem castors on this undercounter freezer and the exterior back is of high quality aluminum. The interior floor and the exterior front, back, and ends are 300 series stainless steel. The stainless steel door, which has a 90º stay open feature, is fitted with a recessed door handle which is 12 inches in length and is foamed in place with a sheet metal interlock to insure permanent attachment. This stainless steel is of superior quality and it protects against dents and scratches. But, it can be rusted and some pitting can occur it it is not cared for properly. Hard water deposits as well as food and drinks that are spilled on the stainless steel should be cleaned off with a non-chloride cleaner using a soft cloth.
This undercounter portable freezer is perfect for busy kitchens to utilize space as best as possible. It has a crated weight of 195 pounds and is 27 5/8 inches in length, 30 1/8 inches in depth and 29 ¾ inches in height. The 1/3 horsepower, 8.3 amp, and 115/60/1 voltage restaurant freezer is prewired in the factory and includes a 7 foot cord that is ready for connection into a 5-15 phase NEMA configured outlet. This restaurant freezer has an excellent refrigeration system that a used freezer couldn’t compare with. It uses CFC free R4O4A refrigerant and contains has a guided airflow system to maintain a uniform temperature inside the cabinet. For faster temperature recovery and shorter run times this industrial freezer uses a sealed, cast iron, self-lubricated epoxy coated evaporator fan motor and large fan blades, which also give this commercial freezer a low velocity, high volume airflow. The automatic defrost system is time-initiated and time-terminated and the large evaporator coils are 1/8 inches in diameter larger than factory standards. This large evaporator coil, along with a large condenser and a high horsepower compressor, maintain the temperature at -10ºF, which is perfect for ice cream. Just a reminder, to protect your long long-term investment you have to clean your condenser coil and the fan with a stiff bristle brush and its always a good idea to vacuum the dirt and food particles from the interior floor of the cabinet.
This industrial freezer has some optional features that may be ordered, such as a single or double utility shelf, a stacking collar, or heavy duty six gauge tops. This undercounter portable freezer may also be ordered ADA compliant. It comes with a one year warranty on all parts and labor and a five year warranty on the compressor.
