The Anvil TSA7209 is an electric sandwich press that can also grill steaks, bacon, and a wide variety of other foods, and it is intended for light duty and concession cooking. It is coated and it measures 14 inches in width, 19 inches in length, and 13 inches in height. This Panini style grill has a 13 inch by 14 inch, ribbed, cast aluminum lower grill and a hinged upper grill that also has a ribbed plate. Because this Anvil grill is ribbed, it gives a sophisticated, uniform look to both sides of the sandwich. For a variety of food thickness, the top plate is adjustable, and if you leave the top plate up, this sandwich press becomes a griddle to cook burgers, chicken and steaks. This electric sandwich press has a heat resistant handle to protect against burns and a drip cup to catch grease. It is also non-stick so there is no need for aluminum foil or oils. This commercial grill is easy to use, and it features a pilot light that indicates when the plates are on. The unique heating design in this sandwich press allows the food to be encapsulated, which ensures maximum heat transfer and even heat distribution.
