Description
This food prep table is the True TSSU-48-12. It is a refrigerated, two door, sandwich and salad food prep station. Each self-closing, positive seal door is fitted with a 12 inch long recessed door handle that is foamed-in-place with a sheet metal interlock to insure permanent attachment. Both doors swing within the cabinet dimensions and the magnetic door gasket is all one piece so it is easily removed for cleaning. This True food prep table is 48 3/8 inches long and has a depth of 30 1/8 inches and a height of 36 3/4 inches. There are four PVC coated wire shelves on the inside of the cabinet that are 21 9/16 inches in length and 16 inches in depth. Each shelf comes with four chrome plated shelf clips and all are adjustable on 1/2 inch increments. The exterior of this durable sandwich/salad prep table is made of stainless steel on the front, top, and cabinet ends to reduce dents and scratches, and this steel should be cleaned with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth. The interior of the refrigerated food prep stand has a 300 series stainless steel floor with coved corners and the walls are NSF approved aluminum. There are 5 inch in diameter stem castors with locks on the front set and the entire cabinet is foamed in-place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The oversized, factory balanced refrigeration system in this sandwich and salad stand uses 134A refrigerant and the forced air design holds the product temperature in the cabinet and in the food pans at 33ºF to 41ºF. This refrigeration system is ANSI/NSF-7-1997-6.3 compliant and contains a large compressor that gives this food prep station colder standard temperatures, lower energy consumption, and shorter run times. The evaporator is 20%-40% larger than factory standards and is epoxy coated to eliminate corrosion. The self-lubricating fan motor, which has a life expectancy of 15-20 years, is cast iron and has very large fan blades to provide faster temperature recovery. There is also a larger condenser coil which dissipate heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle. Don’t forget that the condenser coil and the fan blades should be cleaned with a stiff bristle brush every thirty days to lower electrical costs and minimize service expenses.
The countertop pan opening on this commercial sandwich and salad station is designed to fit lots of different sizes of pans. But, it comes standard with pan divider bars and 12 clear, polycarbonate food pans that are NSF approved. The countertop hood is stainless steel and each food pan that is included also comes with a stainless steel lid to minimize condensation, lock in freshness, and maintain a uniform pan temperature. An 11 3/4 inch deep, full length, removable cutting board that is made out of polyethylene is included and there is even a one year warranty on all parts and labor and a five year warranty on the compressor.
