This G-series freezer is the Traulsen G22002. It requires a 115 volt, 1 phase, 11.2 amp dedicated outlet. This reach-in freezer is composed of two sections that each have two half doors. These doors are equipped with metal door pans to protect the gaskets and removable plug cylinder locks. The doors in this commercial freezer also have cam-lift, self-closing, metal glide hinges that have a 120 degree stay open feature and behind each door is an anti-condensate heater. Vinyl magnetic door gaskets ensure that the doors are tightly sealed and each door has a recessed door handle. This entire upright freezer is also foamed in place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation that is 2 inches thick. Stainless steel makes up the exterior front, doors, and louver one-piece assembly while the exterior top, bottom, and sides are made from heavy gauge aluminized steel. The entire interior and the door liners are made from anodized aluminum.

Standard with this four half door freezer are three epoxy coated shelves in each freezing section. The full width shelves can each hold up to 225 lbs. and they are mounted on shelf pins. Also standard is a water resistant microprocessor control system that has a three digit LED display and it can show the temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius. The temperature in this Traulsen freezer is held between 0ºF to -5ºF by CFC free R404A refrigerant. This top mounted, balanced, self-contained refrigeration system also uses a thermostatic expansion valve, an air-cooled hermetic compressor, and a top mounted, non-electric condensate evaporator. An easy to clean, front facing condenser comes in this reach-in freezer, as does a large, high humidity evaporator coil. Remember to clean the condenser coil every thirty days because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure, but a clean condenser can reduce electrical costs and minimize service expenses.

This restaurant freezer measures 35 inches in length, 52-1/8 inches in width, and 77-1/4 inches in height. It has a holding capacity of 46 cubic feet, so it is an excellent addition to any busy establishment. A nine foot cord and plug are included with this industrial freezer, and it is backed by a one year parts and labor warranty and a five year compressor warranty. It is also NSF and UL approved. Don’t forget that the stainless steel should be cleaned quite often with a non-chloride cleaner using a soft cloth to help prevent the possibility of rust and pitting.
