The T-49 freezer is a two door reach in freezer which is 54-1/8 inches in length, 29-1/2 inches in depth, and 78-3/8 inches in height, and a capacity of 49 cubic feet. This commercial freezer has a 3/4 horsepower, and uses 115v,60Hz,1 Phase, 13.2 amps. It is completely pre-wired at the factory and the 9 foot cord that is included is ready for connection into a NEMA 5-20 configured outlet. This industrial freezer comes with six adjustable PVC coated shelves which are 24-9/16 inches in length and 22-3/8 inches in depth. These heavy-duty shelves each come with four chrome plated shelf clips and they are supported on pilasters made of NSF approved white vinyl coated aluminum. The interior of this restaurant freezer is also made of the same attractive material and the whole freezer is insulated with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The welded, heavy-duty galvanized frame rail is dipped in rust inhibiting enamel paint for protection against corrosion and fitted with 4 inch in diameter stem castors. The two positive seal, self closing doors have been factory-tested over 1 million times and come with a lifetime guarantee on the door hinges and torsion type closure system. Each door is fitted with lifetime guaranteed, 12 inch long recessed door handles and the magnetic door gaskets are all one piece so they can easily be removed without tools for cleaning. The exterior of this True T49 freezer is composed of 300 series stainless steel and the ends, back, and top are made of anodized quality aluminum. It is imperative to maintain the stainless steel on this upright freezer by cleaning food and other spills off with a soft cloth to prevent scratches. Also, the cleaners that are used to clean the stainless steel should not contain chloride of quaternary salts because these substances can cause rust and pitting.

This high quality reach-in restaurant freezer contains incandescent interior lighting, an exterior mounted temperature monitor, and is NSF-7 compliant for open food containers. The automatic defrost system is time-initiated and temperature terminated to save you energy and provide the shortest possible defrost cycle. The refrigeration system is made of a self-contained capillary tubing system that uses CFC free, R404A refrigerant. The are extra large evaporator coils in this commercial freezer will hold the temperature at –10ºF and provide you with faster pull down of product temperatures and quicker recovery times. The cast iron evaporator fan motor and large fan blades give this True industrial freezer a low velocity, high volume airflow design, which stop products from blocking the airflow.

TIP: Condenser coils must be cleaned every thirty days for the best performance possible, because if they are not it can lead to compressor failure. A stiff bristle brush can be used to clean the condenser coils and the fan and a shop vac may be used to clean the dirt from the interior floor. And don’t forget that when cleaning you condenser coil you must disconnect the power first.
