The Therma-Tek TMD60-24G-6-2 is a high quality stainless steel gas range that runs on natural or propane gas. It features 2 ovens, 6 open top burners, and a 24 inch griddle. The two ovens in this gas range have porcelain interiors that each measure 26 ¼ inches wide, 27 inches deep, and 14 5/16 inches high, and they both have heavy gauge welded frames. A heavy-duty cast iron “H” burner is in each oven of this kitchen range, and the burner is lit by a push button igniter. The heat is controlled by a thermostat that can be adjusted from 150ºF to 500ºF. Removable chrome plated side oven racks, a removable oven bottom, and one chrome plated oven rack come inside of each gas range oven, and both the oven doors are ribbed for extra strength. Be sure that you clean the inside of your ovens often with warm soapy water, because a dirty oven does not circulates heat as well as a clean oven does. Also, it is a bad idea to use aluminum foil in your oven because this interrupts the air flow.
On the right side above the ovens in this restaurant range are six open top, lift off, cast iron burners. Each burner is rated at 30,000 BTUs per hour and is covered by a cast iron top grate. The burners in this commercial range are lit by a spill-proof pilot ignition system and controlled by an infinite heat brass valve. To the left of these burners is a 24 inch griddle that has a ¾ inch thick, steel griddle plate. There are two “H” burners heating the griddle of this gas cooking range, and each burner has its own manual heat control valve or thermostat. For easy cleaning , this griddle utilizes a spatula wide grease trough and a large capacity grease can with an integral lid. It is important to clean off the griddle after every use. The burners should be cleaned often as well for excellent heat transfer.
This Therma-Tek gas range is constructed from stainless steel, and this steel should be cleaned regularly with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner to prevent the possibility of rust and pitting. This professional gas range is backed by a one year limited warranty on parts and labor and is UL approved. Included at no extra charge is a ¾ inch NPT gas connection and a gas pressure regulator. This stainless steel gas range also comes standard with six inch adjustable legs and a single deck high shelf that is perfect for storage of pots or pans.
