Therma-Tek’s TMD60-10-2 is a commercial gas range that requires natural or propane gas. This range sits on top of 6 inch adjustable legs and features a single deck high shelf that is excellent for storing pots or pans. It comes with a gas pressure regulator and a ¾ inch NPT gas connection. A one year limited warranty on parts and labor covers covers this kitchen range and it is also UL certified. Stainless steel makes up the entire exterior, and stainless steel can eventually rust and pit due to hard water and food deposits. Therefore, you should clean the stainless steel often with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner that is free from quaternary salts.
This restaurant range measures 60 inches in width, 33 1/8 inches in depth, and 57 ½ inches in height, and is composed of ten open top burners and two ovens. Each of the lift-off burners is cast iron and is rated at 30,000 BTUs per hour. Cast iron top grates cover each burner in this gas range, and these grates can be removed for cleaning. The burners are lit by a spill-proof pilot ignition system, and each is controlled by its own brass valve that has infinite adjustment.

Both ovens in this restaurant range have removable chrome plated oven side racks, a removable bottom, and a ribbed oven door for extra durability. Heavy duty, cast iron, “H” burners rated at 40,000 BTUs per hour are in each oven, and each is controlled by a thermostat that is adjustable between 150ºF and 500ºF. There is also a push button pilot igniter for each oven in this gas range.
Optional features and accessories are available with this restaurant range such as 6 inch swivel casters, a 17 inch high backguard, or a 10 inch low profile backguard. It is important that the ovens in this kitchen range are cleaned often with warm soapy water, because a clean oven cooks much better than a dirty one. And here is just a tip from us: When cooking food in your gas range oven, it is not a good idea to use aluminum foil because it interrupts the air flow and affects air distribution.
