Description 

P5 is an Everpure brand sediment prefilter. It removes sediments, dirt, and other particles that contaminate water, and it is rated at 5 microns. This filter is 10 inches in diameter, is made from polypropylene, and has a capacity of 1.02 cubic feet volume. The water flows from into the filter head and down the prefilter to remove the dirt and sediments. Then, the incoming pressure forces the water through the filter membrane and out of the water filter system to create safe and crisp ice.

It is really important that you change the prefilter in your commercial ice machine at the scheduled time. If the prefilter is not changed, clogging or channeling may occur. If channeling occurs, the water will still flow from the filter but it will not actually be filtered. This Everpure sediment prefilter is NSF approved.
