The Everpure P1-20 is a sediment prefilter. It is rated at one micron so it is perfect for establishments wanting to remove dirt and other particles from their ice machine. This commercial prefilter measures 20 inches in diameter and has a capacity of 1.678 cubic feet volume. It is made from polypropylene and is also NSF approved. The water enters the top of the filter and flows through it to remove all the sediments and dirt particles. Even when the water pressure changes, the water still moves freely during this filtration process. Incoming pressure forces the water through the filter membrane and then the water flows out of the water filter system. be sure that you change the filter at the scheduled time, because this will reduce the possibility of clogging, channeling, and dumping.
