Kolpak? P7-812-FO is an outdoor walk-in freezer. It requires a 208-230 volt, 1 phase, 20 amp dedicated outlet and has a self-contained refrigeration system. This refrigeration system is either top or side mounted and it holds the temperature at -10?F using low ambient controls, an air cooled condenser, an expansion valve system, a 1 3/4 horsepower compressor, and an automatic evaporator. Standard with this commercial freezer is a 26 inch by 78 inch door. The door is heated and self closing, and it has the following features:

• magnetic gaskets,
• cam-lift hinges,
• a low watt heat strip in the door jamb to prevent frost and condensation
• a 2 1/2 inch dial thermometer, and
• a light switch for the vapor-proof interior lights.

This industrial freezer measures 7 feet, 9 inches in length; 11 feet, 7 inches in width; and 7 feet, 6 inches in height. It has a holding capacity of 532 cubic feet and is entirely foamed in place with 4 inch thick, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The exterior and interior of this outdoor freezer is 26 gauge embossed galvalume and there is even a walk-in floor. To prevent vacuum and pressure build-up there are heated air-vents, and there is also a defrost timer. Standard with this walk-in freezer are foamed in place PVC gaskets, interlocking tongue and groove sectional panels, and double 90? bends on the metal edges of the walls. To ensure that all the panels will align evenly, Posi-Loc assemblies are utilized; and for greater sanitation and easy to clean floors the corners of this freezer are coved. It is very important that you remember to clean your outdoor cooler because it is such an important long term investment. The interior and exterior should be cleaned with water and a mild soap and the gaskets should be cleaned with a solution of baking soda and warm water. Check the gaskets often to ensure that they are not broken and tighten the screws in the hinges and latch often. Also, the hinges need to be re-lubricated every two months with petroleum jelly.

It is really important that the condenser coil and the fan blades be cleaned every thirty days with a stiff wire brush, because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. After scrubbing the coil and blades, blow CO2 through the condenser from the fin to the fan side. This Kolpak outdoor walk-in freezer is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor, a five year warranty on the compressor, and a ten year warranty on the panels. It is also NSF, UL, and CSA approved. Options are available including right or left door hinging, shelving kits, kick plates, tread plates, or an outside locking bar. Included at no extra charge is the Kolpak outdoor package and outdoor housing. Instillation is rather simple but a little different than instillation for indoor freezers. It requires a field supplied and installed condensate drain line and Polar-Paks require a roof sealing system.
