Outdoor Walk In Freezer 6' x 8' x 7'6'' Self Contained, Kolpak P7-068-FO

This outdoor walk-in freezer is the Kolpak P7-068-FO. It requires a 208-230 volt, 1 phase, 15 amp dedicated outlet and is fully insulated with 4 inch thick, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The measurements of this commercial freezer are as follows:

• 5 feet, 10 inches in length;
• 7 feet, 9 inches in width; and
• 7 feet, 6 inches in height.

It has a holding capacity of 252 cubic feet and uses Posi-Loc locking assemblies to make sure that all the panels line up correctly for an air tight fit. The PVC gaskets in this industrial freezer are foamed in place on the interior and exterior edge of the tongue rail. For even more durability, there are double 90° bends on the metal edges of the walls and the tongue and groove sectional panels interlock. Heated air-vents are utilized in this walk-in freezer to stop vacuum and pressure build-up and the floor panels have coved corners to make cleaning easier. There is one door in this outdoor freezer which measures 26 inches by 78 inches. It is heated and self-closing, and it has a low watt heater strip in the door jamb to prevent frost and condensation build-up. This door also uses cam-lift door hinges, magnetic gaskets, keyed door locks, and a Posi-Seal door closure with a latch. Standard on the door of this freezer are a 2 1/2 inch dial thermometer and a switch for the interior, incandescent, vapor-proof lights, which provide excellent visibility of the food products.

The self-contained refrigeration system in this Kolpak freezer is top or side mounted and uses an automatic evaporator, a 1 horsepower compressor, an air-cooled condenser, low ambient controls, and an expansion valve system to maintain the temperature at -10°F. To prevent compressor failure, be sure that you clean the condenser coil and the fan blades every thirty days with a stiff wire brush. Then blow CO2 through the condenser form the fin to the fan side to lower electrical costs and minimize service expenses. Here are a few more maintenance tips: the interior and exterior should be cleaned with water and a mild soap. Check the gaskets often and replace broken ones immediately, and tighten the screws in the hinges and the latch regularly. The hinges should be re-lubricated every two months and the gaskets can be cleaned with a solution of baking soda and warm water.
