PX7-612-O is one of Kolpak’s many outdoor walk-in coolers. It requires a 115 or 208-230 volt, 1 phase, 25 amp dedicated outlet. This commercial refrigerator is completely foamed in place with 4 inch, CFC free, polyurethane insulation and uses Posi-Loc locking assemblies to ensure that all the panels are perfectly aligned and secure. For extra strength, this walk-in restaurant cooler has double 90° bends on the metal edges of the walls and the tongue and the groove and tongue sectional panels interlock. The PVC gaskets on the exterior and interior edge of the tongue rail are foamed in place and this eliminates gaskets from moving around and ensures that the panels come together evenly. Access is gained to the walk-in cooler by the 26 inch by 78 inch self-closing door that has keyed door locks. This “Super Door” seals in the cool air, reduces condensation, and utilizes magnetic gaskets and cam-lift hinges. On the door is a switch for the interior vapor-proof lights and also a 2 1/2 inch dial thermometer. To eliminate the worry of getting stuck inside of this commercial cooler, there is even an interior safety release.
This industrial cooler has a holding capacity of 406 cubic feet and measures:
- 5 feet, 10 inches in length,
- 11 feet, 7 inches in width, and
- 7 feet, 6 inches in height.
It has coved corners on the floor panels that make cleaning super easy, and there is also an off cycle coil defrost system and a defrost timer. The temperature inside of the cooler is held at 38°F by a top mounted, self-contained refrigeration system that has an air cooled condenser, a 3/4 horsepower compressor, an automatic condensate evaporator, an expansion valve system, and high pressure safety controls. It is important that you clean the condenser coil and the fan blades of your outdoor refrigerator often with a stiff wire brush every thirty days, because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. Here are a few more maintenance tips: the interior and exterior of the cooler can be cleaned with water and a mild soap, and fingerprints and stains can be removed with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner. The gaskets should be check regularly and broken ones should be replaced as soon as possible. It is a good idea to clean the gaskets with a solution of baking soda and warm water, and the door hinges should be re-lubricated every two months with petroleum jelly.
This Kolpak outdoor walk-in cooler is NSF, UL, and CSA approved. It is backed by a one year parts and labor warranty, a five year compressor warranty, and a ten year panel warranty. A walk-in floor is optional, as are shelving kits, side mounted refrigeration units, low ambient controls, and tread plates. Also optional is the right or left door hinging, and custom walk-in coolers are available upon request.
The Kolpak outdoor package comes with this outside walk-in cooler, and a field supplied and installed condensate drain line is also necessary. Instillation is extremely simple and a roof sealing system is available.
