This Hobart 20 quart mixer comes standard with a manual bowl, a bowl scraper, and an ingredient chute. This mixer also comes equipped with a 1/2 HP high torque motor and also a gear driven transmission. This unit has three fixed speeds which are low, intermediate, and high, and also a stir speed. This unit also has shift-on-the-fly controls which allows the operator to change the speeds while the mixer is running. This mixer has a magnetic contactor with thermal overload protection and has internally sealed ''start-stop'' push buttons. A 15-minute SmartTimer is also standard on this unit and includes the Automatic Time Recall option which remembers the last time set for each speed. This unit has an optional SmartPlus2 Programmable Recipe Timer option that allows the operators the ability to program up to 4 recipes with 5 steps per recipe. The SmartPlus2 also automatically changes the speeds and starts the timer count-down without operator intervention. The bowl guard on this Hobart mixer has a heavy-duty stainless steel wire front and a solid rear portion. The front portion of the guard rotates easily to add ingredients and to install or remove the agitator. The guard also detaches in seconds for easy cleaning in the dishwasher or in the sink. The bowl guard on this unit must be in the closed position before the mixer will operate. The bowl lift on this machine has a ergonomic style and is hand crank operated. The finish on this mixer is a metallic gray hybrid powder coat finish and the machine comes with a front-mounted Hobart standard #12 taper attachment hub for use with any Hobart #12 size attachments.
