This 12 quart Hobart mixer comes standard with a manual bowl lift and an ingredient chute. This unit also comes standard with a 1/2 HP high torque motor and a gear-driven transmission. This machine has a magnetic contactor with thermal overload protection. The mixer has internally sealed ''start-stop'' push buttons and also comes with a 15-minute SmartTimer which includes Automatic Time Recall which remembers the last time set for each speed. This mixer has 3 fixed speeds including low, intermediate, and high, plus a stir speed. The bowl guard on this machine has a heavy-duty stainless steel wire front and a solid rear portion. The front portion of the bowl guard rotates easily to add ingredients and also install or remove the agitator. The guard detaches easily in seconds for cleaning either in the dishwasher or in the sink. The guard on this unit must be in the closed position before the mixer will operate. The bowl lift on this Hobart mixer is an ergonomic style and is hand cranked operated. The finish on this unit is a metallic gray hybrid powder coat finish. This mixer comes with a front-mounted Hobart standard #12 taper attachment hub for use with #12 size attachments.
