Description 

When exhaust fans remove smoke fumes and contaminated air from a building, there is a negative air pressure unless the air is replenished. This negative air pressure causes drafts, back drafts, cold spots, wind chills, inefficient exhaust fan operation, and strong air inrush when a door is opened. A proper sized make up air fan will eliminate negative air pressure by ventilating the building in a controlled manner.
