This Hobart legacy planetary 60 quart, 380-460 volts mixer comes standard with a bowl scraper and an ingredient chute. This mixer also comes equipped with a 2.7 HP high torque switched reluctance motor and a gear transmission. This units transmission has a rated 5.4 HP poly-v belt that transfers power from the motor to the input shaft and then is geared down to the desired reduction with a constant gear mesh. This machine has a magnetic contactor with thermal overload protection and interally sealed ''start-stop'' and power bowl lift push buttons. A 50-minute SmartTimer is standard on this unit and the SmartTimer includes Automatic Time Recall which remembers the last time set for each speed. This mixer also has shift-on-the-fly controls which allows the operator to change the speeds while the mixer is running and each speed has a soft transition into a high speed. This machine has an optional SmartPlus2 Programmable Recipe Timer that allows operators the ability to program up to 9 recipes with 6 steps per recipe and the SmartPlus2 also automatically changes the speeds and starts the timer count-down without operator intervention. This unit has a heavy-duty stainless steel wire front and a stainless steel portion bowl guard. The front portion of this bowl guard rotates easily to add ingredients and to install or remove the agitator. The guard also detaches easily for cleaning in the dishwasher or in the sink. The bowl guard must be in the closed position before the mixer will operate. The power bowl lift on this machine is powered by an electric motor and the bowl may be raised or lowered by the fingertip control through the conveniently located switch. The bowl will remain in position until the switch is activated. The stir-on-lift feature allows the agitator to run in the stir speed when the mixer bowl is in the raised position, the mixer will then automatically shift into the preselected speed. This mixer comes standard with neoprene footpads and also comes with a front-mounted Hobart standard #12 taper attachment hub for use with #12 size attachments. This unit has a metallic gray hybrid powder coat finish.
