Kettles - Gas Kettles - Electric Kettles
Buying a kettle is a very important purchase that requires careful consideration. You will want to first decide on a gas or electric kettle depending on how your kitchen is set up. Do you have an all gas kitchen with a space set aside for a kettle? Then a gas kettle is the way to go. If you find that after you have set up your kitchen that a kettle is needed and there are no gas lines to accommodate, then an electric kettle is going to be the best option. Also, depending upon preference, you may want a stationary or tilting kettle.
Gas Kettles
Gas heated equipment in general has a quicker recovery time, so for most venues, a gas kettle is the best choice. Also, gas kettles are generally used in higher volume venues to accommodate larger amounts of food. Gas kettles are the best kettles for large industrial kitchens that are found in hotels, schools, state institutions and large cafeterias.
Electric Kettles
Electric kettles are perfect for kitchens that either didn’t include gas line space for a kettle or use kettles less frequently and place it in storage between uses. Electric kettles also come in smaller sizes to accommodate small venues such as kiosks, small sandwich shops, cantinas or other smaller restaurants.
