Kolpak’s P7-812-F is an indoor walk-in freezer that requires a 208-230 volt, 1 phase, 20 amp dedicated outlet. It is entirely foamed in place with high density, CFC free, 4 inch thick polyurethane insulation and has a top mounted, self-contained refrigeration system. The temperature in this commercial freezer is held at -10°F by an air cooled condenser, a 1 horsepower compressor, an expansion valve system, and a hot gas condensate evaporator. There is even an electric coil defrost system and a defrost timer for extra convenience, and side mounted refrigeration units are available. The condenser coil and the fan blades need to be cleaned every thirty days because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. The coil and the blades should be scrubbed with a stiff wire brush, and then CO2 needs to be blown through the condenser from the fin to the fan side.

This restaurant freezer is 26 gauge embossed galvalume one the interior as well as the exterior, and it can be cleaned with a mild soap and water. Access is granted into this walk-in by the 26 inch by 78 inch self-closing door. The door utilizes keyed door locks, magnetic door gaskets, and cam-lift hinges. This “Super Door” seals in the cold and prevents condensation. To seal the magnetic gaskets in this kitchen freezer and to prevent frost build-up, a low watt heater strip is fitted into the door jamb. Included with to door section is a 2 1/2 inch dial thermometer and a switch for the vapor-proof interior lights. Be sure that you clean the gaskets regularly with a solution of baking soda and warm water, and replace broken gaskets as soon as possible. The hinges should be re-lubricated every two months with petroleum jelly and the screws should be tightened often. You can clean the interior and exterior of this inside walk-in freezer with a mild soap and water, and fingerprints and stains can be removed with a mild, non-abrasive cleaner.

This walk-in freezer measures 7 feet, 9 inches in length; 11 feet, 7 inches in width; and 7 feet, 6 inches in height. It has a holding capacity of 532 cubic feet and all the panels are NSF approved. The PVC coated gaskets on eth interior and exterior edge of the tongue rail are foamed in place to prevent them from moving, and the Posi-Loc assemblies provide perfect alignment of the walls, ceiling, and door. For extra strength and durability with this Kolpak commercial freezer, the tongue and groove sectional panels are interlocking and there are double 90° bends on the metal edges of the walls.

There is a one year parts and labor warranty, and five year compressor warranty, and a ten year panel warranty backing this industrial freezer. It is also NSF, UL, and CSA approved. Options are available including kick plates, shelving kits, and even custom configurations. Also optional is right or left door hinging. Installing your Kolpak freezer is just as simple as using it. All you have to do is assemble the panels and lift the ceiling into place. Then, roll the refrigeration unit into place and bolt it into the right panel. Lastly, attach a pigtail and plug the freezer into the wall. All this can be done without a technician, plumber, or even drain line.
