The ICE0500HA cube ice maker is the perfect addition to any bar or restaurant. It is constructed from sturdy, corrosion resistant, 300 series stainless steel. This commercial ice machine has an ARI production (90°F air/70°F water) of 461 lbs. of ice per day and an application production (70°F air/50° water) of 620 lbs. of ice per day. For every 100 lbs. of ice that is produced this ice machine has a low ARI water usage of 23.4 gallons and an ARI electricity usage of 7.3 KWH, and uses only 10,843 BTU’s per hour. This restaurant ice machine is perfect for environmentally friendly users because it uses CFC free, R404A refrigerant to produce half size ice cubes that are 7/8 inches by 7/8 inches by 3/8 inches thick. For extra protection on your long term investment the evaporator inside of this commercial ice making machine has a seven year warranty when the water filter cartridge is changed every six months and the compressor has a five year warranty. The self-contained, air cooling condenser, along with all the other components in this ice machine, has a three year warranty on all parts and labor.


This Ice-O-Matic ice machine has many extra features as well. To protect against bacteria, slime, and fungus growth there is PureICE inside, which is a built-in antimicrobial protection. HarvestAssist is another excellent feature which helps prevent scaling and insures consistent ice production by pushing the ice into the ice bin rather than waiting for gravity to overpower the scale. This restaurant ice machine has top air discharge which allows the machine to operate with no side clearance required, and as an added bonus there is no air filter that has to be changed. This ice maker also has electro-mechanical controls and comes with six inch adjustable legs.


Please remember that when retrieving ice a spoon, tongs, or ice scoop should always be used because hands can contaminate the ice and a glass could chip and leave little pieces of glass inside the ice bin. The ice scoop should never be left in the ice bin because it can also cause contamination. Just a tip to protect your long term investment: the fan blades on the evaporator fan motor and the condenser coil should be cleaned every thirty days with a stiff bristle brush because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. Also, the stainless steel should be wiped down regularly because hard water and food deposits may result in rust or pitting after long periods of time. To clean the stainless steel on your industrial ice making machine use a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner that is free of quaternary salts.
