The ICE0320 commercial cube ice machine is a high quality Ice-O-Matic product. It has ice production of 334 lbs. of ice for every 24 hours. This ice maker uses 5,910 BTU's per hour and has a low water usage of 28.5 gallons and a low electricity usage of 9.5 KWH for every 100 lbs. of ice that it produces. This restaurant ice maker makes half ice cubes that measure 7/8 inches by 7/8 inches by 3/8 inches and comes with the B42PS ice bin that has a holding capacity of 351 lbs. of ice. This commercial ice making machine measures 22 inches in width and 23 inches in height and is constructed with durable, corrosion-resistant, 300 series stainless steel for protection against dents and scratches. It has a self-contained, air-cooling condenser and an evaporator that is backed by a seven year warranty if the water filter is changed every six months. The compressor has a five year warranty and all other components carry a three year warranty on parts and labor. The condenser, as well as the fan blades, must be cleaned every thirty days because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. The stainless steel should be cleaned often too because hard water and food deposits may cause rust and pitting. The stainless steel can be cleaned with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth.

This industrial ice maker has some excellent time and money saving features too. There is HarvestAssist which reduces scaling and insures consistent ice production by pushing the ice into the ice bin instead of waiting for gravity to overpower the scale. PureICE is another feature that is built-in antimicrobial protection to protect against slime, fungus growth, and bacteria, and this ice machine has no air filter that has to be changed. It has electro-mechanical controls and uses CFC free, R404A refrigerant. Six inch adjustable legs are included and because of its low profile this ice making machine can fit almost anywhere. Just as a reminder, ice is food and should be treated that way. Never use your hands or a glass to retrieve ice because this can cause contamination or glass shards in the ice bin. Instead use a spoon, ice scoop, or tongs and store the ice scoop outside of the ice bin to reduce the possibility of contamination.
