This electric Vollrath hot food table is the 38105. It requires a 120 volt, 30 amp dedicated outlet. This commercial steam table is composed of stainless steel and comes with a 10 foot power cord that is bottom mounted to keep it out of the way. Included at no extra charge is a 7 ½ inch plate shelf and a 8 inch wide, 3/8 inch thick cutting board. This electric hot food station sits on adjustable, stationary legs but a caster set of four swivel wheels with brakes is available. This steam table has five food holding wells that are self-insulating, easy to clean, and they will not rust or pit. These food wells can hold fractional or full sized food pans that are no more than 6 inches deep, but we recommend using food pans that are no more than 4 inches deep. The food wells in this buffet bar are heated by thermostatic heat controls that automatically adjust for water temperature and food volume changes to reduce food wastes. There is a capillary tube thermostat that controls the heat when maximum efficiency is necessary and there are also dome-heating elements that concentrate the heat to the wells. The elements in this food buffet table are cast-in for longer life and they are non-stick to prevent slime build-up. To keep the top surface of this hot food station dry, the wells feature a wide no-drip lip and for ease of cleaning, each well has its own brass drain valve.

This Vollrath electric steam table measures 75 ½ inches in length, 32 inches in width, and 34 inches in height. It is rated at a total of 3500 watts and it uses standard adapter plates and insets for superior flexibility. It is important to protect this long term investment by keeping it clean. You should wipe down the stainless steel with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner to reduce the possibility of rust and pitting. The inside of the food wells should be wiped out after every use to remove excess water. Be sure that the proper water level is maintained in each well, the insets are used with standard inset covers, and the food is stirred regularly to keep the food at its proper temperature.
