Description 

This Hobart mixer-grinder has a 7.5 HP motor, a 1 HP mix motor, and also an 8-foot cord and plug. Casters, pneumatic foot switch, drain pan, and splash shield come standard with this machine. The mixer grinder hopper on this unit has a meat capacity of up to 200 pounds depending on the type of meat. This mixer-grinder is equipped with a "wedge cylinder" grinding end and the grinding end is sized for #32 knives and plates. This unit is powered by two seperate drive systems. The 1 HP motor drives the heavy-duty steel mixing arm which rotates at 23 RPM and can be easily removed from the hopper to be cleaned. The conveyor screw on this unit extends the full length of the hopper and cylinder and rotates at a speed of 216 RPM. Both the mixing and grinding stop when the STOP switch is depressed. The mixing arm, conveyor screw, cylinder, and the conveyor screw drive-shaft seal and the mix seal are removable from the unit for cleaning purposes. This mixer-grinder consists of a glass bead finished stainless steel hopper and also stainless steel panels which enclose the base assembly and the motors. The mixing arm, end ring, cylinder, and conveyor screw on this machine are all tinned. The casters on this unit are nickel-chrome plated with a stainless steel bearing.
