This Toastmaster TM7348 is an electric griddle. It is made from welded and reinforced stainless steel on the front and sides, and the rear and bottom are made from aluminized steel. This countertop grill has a stainless steel grease trough mounted on the front of the unit that drains grease through the grease chute to the grease drawer, which makes clean up a breeze. It also comes standard with four inch adjustable legs and four inch high rear and side splash guards to stop spills and grease splatters. The griddle plate where the actual cooking happens is a ½ inch thick, polished, rolled steel plate. The temperature of the griddle plate on this restaurant grill is controlled by a thermostat that is adjustable from 150ºF to 450ºF, and the thermostat comes with an indicator light and has a positive “OFF” position for extra safety. This electric griddle is heated by tubular heating elements that are pressure clamped to the underside of the griddle’s surface, and these heaters are provide heat all over the grilling plate for even heating.

This Toastmaster commercial griddle measures 48 inches in width, 24 inches in depth, and ½ inches in height. All of its electrical components are made to a terminal block in a compartment at the rear. This 208 to 240 volt grill uses between 16.2 to 21.5 KWH so it is very economical as well as compact. Because this electric grill is stainless steel, it should be wiped down often with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner, and the grilling plate should be cleaned off after every use. When installing this industrial grill, be sure that the sides are at least one inch away from combustible material, and the back should be at least ½ inch away from combustible materials.
