The Toastmaster’s TMDG-24 is a low profile, very efficient, gas griddle. It is UL and NSF approved and is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor. This commercial grill comes with a ¾ inch rear gas connection and a gas pressure regulator. It has two U shaped burners that are each controlled by a standing pilot ignition system and they both have their own front mounted panel control knob. These burners each use 35,000 BTUs per hour with natural gas and 30,000 BTUs per hour with propane gas. The burners in this restaurant griddle heat up a flat top, ¾ inch high, rolled steel plate. Attached to this plate is a four inch high rear and side splash guard to protect against spills and grease.
This gas griddle measures 27 inches in height, 24 inches in width, and 25 ½ inches in depth and comes with four inch adjustable legs. The front and top rail are made of stainless steel and the rear and sides are made from aluminized steel. No electrical requirements apply to this Toastmaster griddle but it must be placed in a non-combustible location. Before installing, it is a good idea to review your local fire and sanitary codes. To keep your gas grill in its excellent condition, you can clean the stainless steel often with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth, and clean the cooking top off after every use with a scraper. To reduce the amount of money it costs to run your gas griddle, you should only preheat your cook top to the temperature you are going to cook at, no higher. Also, use only the burners and space necessary to cook your food products.
