Description 

This Hobart electric counter griddle is the 5 foot model. This griddle preheats to 350 degrees in only 7 minutes and has a uniform pattern of enclosed tubular stainless steel heating units that eliminates hot and cold spots. The perimeter is heated and the units are attached to the grid bottom. This unit has a thermostat that provides independent controls of each 12'' wide area of grid and the temperature range on the controls is 200 degrees to 450 degrees. A signal light for each thermostat indicated whether or not the griddle is operating and also when the preset temperature is reached. This unit is a stainless steel, free-standing, counter-style griddle and has stainless steel heating units with a 1/2'' thick polished steel griddle plate. The cold-rolled steel has a 3'' high splatter guard that is welded to the bottom of the griddle plate. This unit also has a full-width front and a rear grease trough that directs the grease to a removable chute and the wrap around grease guard protects the wall and equipment from splatters.
