Griddle 48'', Gas, Star 648MD

This 648-MD is a Star brand gas griddle that can grill vegetables, chicken, seafood, burgers, eggs, pancakes, and hash browns. It has a bull nose front to protect against burns and a 4 ½ inch high tapered splash guard to stop grease and spills. This grill also features a spatula-wide, 3 ¼ inch, front grease trough and a grease chute that drains grease into the 4 ½ quart capacity, stainless steel grease drawer for easy clean up. The four burners in this commercial griddle are U shaped to provide even heat distribution and each burner uses only 20,000 BTUs per hour. The burners each have a separate heat control valve and they heat up the smooth, ¾ inch thick, polished steel cooking plate which has excellent heat recovery and is very energy efficient. This gas griddle come with four inch adjustable legs and measures 48 inches in width, 27 ¾ inches in depth, and 15 ½ inches in height.

This Star brand gas grill comes with a ¾ inch NPT gas connection and a convertible pressure regulator. The front is made of stainless steel and the burners are constructed from aluminized steel. This high quality, gas griddle is backed by a one year parts and labor warranty and is UL approved. To keep your food from sticking when cooking on your griddle, it is a good idea to preheat the flat cooking top and dip your food products in seasoned oil. The cooking plate should be cleaned after every use and the stainless steel should be wiped down regularly to prevent the possibility of rust and pitting.
