Griddle 36'', Electric, Star 536TGD

The Star’s 536TGD is an electric griddle that is excellent for making pancakes, bacon, eggs, vegetables, french toast, and much more. It measures 36 inches in width, 27 7/8 inches in depth, and 15 ½ inches in height and comes with four inch adjustable, nickel-plated legs. This restaurant grill has a 4 ½ inch high backsplash that makes clean up extremely simple. There is also a 3 ¼ inch, spatula wide, grease trough and a 4 ½ quart stainless steel grease drawer that catches the excess grease. The griddle surface of this electric grill is a ¾ inch high steel griddle plate. This 36 inch griddle plate provides excellent cooking performance, reliability, even heat distribution, and quick recovery. There is a 4000 watt heating element every 12 inches on the griddle plate and there are three snap-action temperature controls from 150ºF to 450ºF. The excellent design of this restaurant grill provides quick response to temperature changes on the surface and the temperature controls are covered with heavy-duty knob guards to prevent the possibility of burns.

This Star electric griddle has a stainless steel front panel with black polycarbonate trim and double wall aluminized steel side panels, so this grill can be located within 1 inch of combustible materials. It operates on 208 or 240 volts and comes with a junction box at the rear for making electrical connections. This industrial griddle requires hardwire installation and a plug and cord are not included. However, it is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor and is UL approved. The stainless steel of this electric grill should be wiped down often with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to reduce the possibility of rust and pitting.
