The T-36-GC is a True brand, under bar glass and plate chiller. It is composed of one solid cabinet that measures as follows:

• 36 3/4 inches in length,
• 26 5/8 inches in depth, and
• 33 3/8 inches in height.

There is one lid and three adjustable, PVC coated wire shelves. The split shelf design in this plate and glass froster allows for effective rotation of chilled smallware. One side will hold already chilled plates and glasses while the other side is chilling dry plates and glasses. The large storage capacity in the cabinet can meet the required demands of busy restaurants because it can hold 180 8 inch mugs or 172 10 ounce steins. The exterior is made of heavy duty, laminated, black vinyl on the front and sides and the back is matching black aluminum. Because hard water and food and drink deposits can cause rust and pitting, it is important to clean these things off the stainless steel with a non-chloride cleaner using a soft cloth.

The interior of this commercial glass and plate chiller is composed of long lasting, durable, galvanized steel and the entire structure is foamed-in-place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. For extra protection against rust and pitting inside and out, the welded, galvanized frame rail is dipped in rust inhibiting enamel paint. 404A refrigerant is used in the over sized refrigeration system of this restaurant plate and glass chiller, and a large evaporator coil, along with a high horsepower compressor and a big condenser maintain the temperature at 0ºF and below. There is a sealed, self-lubricating evaporator fan motor and large fan blades to produce a low velocity, high volume airflow design, which insures fast frosting of dry plates and glasses. The over sized compressor lowers energy consumption and the large condenser coil dissipates heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle, while big evaporator coils provide quicker recovery times. The automatic defrost system is time-initiated and time-terminated and the positively guided, forced-air cooling airflow provide a balanced temperature throughout the entire cabinet.
