10 burners and 2 ovens!!
The C60SS-10 is a Wolf, Challenger XL series, gas kitchen range. It comes with two standard ovens and ten open top burners. This range is stainless steel and comes with a steel bullnose, a front manifold cover, and six inch legs. One oven uses 35,000 BTUs per hour and measures 29 inches in width, 22 inches in depth, and 13 inches in height while the smaller oven uses only 20,000 BTUs per hour and measures 18 inches in width, 22 inches in depth and 13 inches in height. The oven thermostats on this restaurant range adjust the temperature between 250°and 500°F and each oven comes with one oven rack and four rack positions.
The ten open burners on this gas kitchen range use 26,000 BTUs per hour and every two burners is covered with a heavy duty, cast iron top grate that measures 11 1/8 inches in width and 25 ½ inches in depth. The lift off grates and two piece burners are designed for ease of cleaning and the grates are made so that you can simply slide your pots and pans from one burner to next without any lifting involved. The burners of this restaurant range are heated by a flashtube pilot ignition system for automatic burner lighting and below these burners is a full width, pull out crumb tray that makes clean up super easy.
This high quality Wolf range is NSF and CSA certified and is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor. It measures 56 1/8 inches in width, 32 ¾ inches in depth and 57 ½ inches in height on its six inch legs. This gas kitchen range should be taken care of because it is such a huge investment to your restaurant. The stainless steel should be wiped down with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth and you should also clean underneath the burners regularly. When using the oven in your restaurant range don’t cook with aluminum foil because it reduces baking efficiency. Also, turning up the temperature does not ensure faster cooking but usually means that food will be more dried out. Be sure to set a timer when placing your food in the oven instead of constantly opening the door to check on it because when you open the door, even a few times, heat escapes and it takes much longer to get the food cooked. Optional accessories can be ordered with this Challenger gas range including extra oven racks, seismic legs, or a 4 ½ inch stainless steel stub back.
