The Wells Manufacturing F-49 is an electric deep fryer that requires a 240 volt, 1 phase, 20 amp dedicated outlet, and it is perfect for frying fish, chicken, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and fries. It has a deep drawn, removable frypot that is made from nickel plated steel, and it can hold up to 15 lbs. of oil. This commercial fryer is backed by a one year warranty on parts and labor for defects. It is NSF and UL approved and measures 14 ? inches in width, 23 9/16 inches in depth, and 16 3/8 inches in height.

This restaurant fryer can cook up to 480 ounces of french fries or 16 pounds of chicken in one hour. It has two half size, rear hanging, interchangeable fry baskets so it can cook more than one product at a time. Below the baskets is a stainless steel, heavy duty swing-up element that has a spring-loaded support rod to secure elements when they are in a raised position. This deep fat fryer also features a manual reset safety thermostat that shuts off the heating element power if an over-temperature condition is reached. There is even a red signal light to inform you when the there is an over-temperature condition.

Be sure to clean your Wells fryer often to keep it at its peak performance. You can clean the fry baskets in the dishwasher and it is very important that they are completely dried before they are placed back in the fryer. The exterior surfaces of the electrical fryer can be wiped down with a clean cloth, a little water, and a mild cleaner if necessary, but be sure not to spill water on the controls or control panel because that can cause internal damages. When cooking with your restaurant fryer, filter the oil because dirty oil can lead to over and under cooking of food products. Also, don't set the temperature any higher than necessary because the higher the temperature the faster the shortening breaks down.
