This Frymaster fryer is the MCJCF-SD, which is perfect for breaded fish, fries, chicken, mozzarella sticks, onion rings, and shrimp. It runs on natural or propane gas but it also requires a 120 volt, 5 amp dedicated outlet. This commercial gas fryer has a frying area that measures 18 inches by 19 inches and it is designed for a high output of fried chicken, fries, fish, and other breaded food products. It has a shortening capacity of 60-80 lbs. and uses 150,000 BTUs per hour. This deep fryer features a Master Jet burner that has no radiants that will burn out and no air shutters that have to be cleaned or adjusted. There is a durable, centerline thermostat that is designed with a 1° anticipating action, which reduces temperature overshoot and extends shortening life. This thermostat senses cold foods placed in the basket. Also inside of this floor model gas fryer is a 1 ¼ inch cool zone that catches crumbs and food particles and holds them so that they cant contaminate the shortening or carbonize.


For easy cleaning, this restaurant gas fryer has rounded corners and an open pot design, so the entire frypot and cool zone can be wiped down and cleaned by hand. This open frypot has a large heat transfer area to cook more food per load, and this helps save you time and energy. The front, frypot and door of this commercial gas fryer are all stainless steel and the cabinet is enamel. This heavy duty fryer requires a 1 ½ inch gas supply line, and ¾ inch rear gas connection and a six inch clearance from combustible materials on the sides and rear. When cooking with your Frymaster gas fryer, it is important to filter your oil. Also, oil and water do no mix so when frying food be sure that they don’t have a lot of moisture and wipe the condensation of the fryer. In addition, don’t set the temperature of your fryer too high because that causes faster breakdown of the shortening, as does too much exposure to light. Be sure that your clean you gas fryer often. Wipe the stainless steel down with a soft cloth and a cleaner that is free of chlorides and quaternary salts. Also, wipe off the frypot and clean out the cool zone because that is where all the crumbs and food particles are stored.


This economy fryer is NSF and CSA certified. Optional features and accessories can be ordered with this gas deep fryer such as stainless steel frypot covers, a flue deflector, a sediment tray, or one full sized basket instead of two separate baskets.
