This Hobart bowl-style food processor comes equipped with a 2 HP motor with 6.0/5.0 rated amps and is also direct driven which prevents stalling and slipping. The knife speed on this unit is 1725 RPM and 3450 RPM which is ideal for emulsifying and pureeing foods. The knives on this unit are COOLCUTTER knives and are used to increase the productivity and product consistency while minimizing product temperature rise. This unit has a great compact design and occupies minimal amounts of counter space. Handles are also molded on both sides of the machine for ease of moving the unit. There are also easy to operate off, low, high, and pulse settings. The see-through design on the cover allows continuous view of the product being processed. A large feed tube attached makes it easy to add ingredients while processing. The patented bowl-scraper and integrated lid wiping system comes in handy because there is no need to stop the unit and scrape the side of the bowl, plus the integrated lid wipers provide easy viewing of the product during the processing. Three interlocks prevent operation of the machine unless the bowl is in place, the bowl cover is in place, or if the lid lock arm is in place. The mechanical brakes on this unit stops the blade in only three seconds.
