This Hobart bowl-style food processor comes equipped with a 1.5 HP motor with 15.4 rated amps and is also direct driven which prevents stalling or slipping of the unit. This machine has easy to operate on, off, and pulse setting contols. This compact design takes up minimal counter space. There are also handles molded onto both sides of the unit for ease of moving the unit around. The patented bowl-scraper and integrated lid wiping system means that there is no need to stop the unit and scrape the side of the bowl, plus the integraded lid wipers provide easy viewing of product while being processed. The large-feed tube also makes it easy to add ingredients while the machine is in use. The COOLCUTTER knives that are included increase the productivity and the product consistency while minimizing the products temperature rise. The three interlocks prevent operation unless the bowl is in place, the bowl cover is in place, and when the lid lock arm is in place. The mechanical brakes on this unit stops the blade in three seconds. This machine is constructed of anodized aluminum base with a powercoated top cover which comes in handy for easy cleanups and there are rubber feet on the base which prevents movement of the machine.
