This Hobart food processor is compact and occupies minimal counter space. There are handles that are molded into the sides of the unit which make movement of the unit very easy. The housing of the machine is constructed of anodized aluminum and have rubber feet on the base to prevent movement. The removable bowl and knife blade are stainless steel. The cover and bowl scraper are constructed of durable polycarbonate. There are easy to operate off, on, and pulse switches on this machine. There are also there interlocks that prevent operation unless: (1) the bowl is in place; (2) the cover is in place; and (3) the lid arm is in place. The mechanical brakes on this food processor can stop the blade in three seconds.
