The Vollrath 40705 is an electric fryer that is perfect for frying onion rings, chicken, seafood, fries, mozzarella sticks, or poppers. This light duty fryer requires a 110 volt dedicated outlet and it is composed of stainless steel. This catering fryer has one cooking oil tank and two half size twin frying baskets that are made of tin-plated steel wire. The cooking oil tank is also stainless steel, has handles for easy removal, and has a cooking oil capacity of 10 lbs. The cooking oil tank of this restaurant fryer is held in a hinged element box that has a two stage locking mechanism. For easy removal of oil, there is a specially designed tilt up head, and this fryer also has some excellent safety features as well. The fryer automatically shuts off if the it overheats, the temperature exceeds 410?F, or if the element box is removed. This fryer machine reaches frying temperatures very fast and it maintains heat levels for superior fried food output. It can produce 10 lbs. of french fries in just one hour!
