Description 

This 230 volt Hobart vertical cutter/mixer comes standard with a 5 HP motor, single speed and 1140 RPM's that allows for consistent processing of various products. This machine has magnetically operated start and stop selectors that are completely sealed and washable. All of the electrical controls are housed in a high impact resistance, reinforced polyester enclosure. A 5 minute timer automatically shuts off the machine after the set time has elapsed. This cutter/mixer can also do non-timed operations by setting the timer on run or on jog. The stainless steel, 45-quart capacity bowl has a built-in pouring lip to guide the liquids into a container. The bowl cover is a 3/16'' clear Lexan Polycarbonate that seals effectively without a gasket. For the bowl tilt mechanism on this unit a lever is provided to control the bowl for the ''hold'' position when running or ''tilt'' to empty. When it is set to ''hold'', there is a firm grip to prevent tipping of the bowl during normal operation. The ''tilt'' setting releases the hold but provides a constant preset drag which allows pivoting but will hold the bowl in any position. The mixing baffle on this unit is all stainless steel and is manually operated to move products continually into the shaft blades. This unit consists of the manually operated mixing baffle, the polypropylene strainer basket, cut/mix attachment, knead/mix attachment, and the 6 foot power cable with plug and power receptacle.
