Curved Glass Deli Case 23.8 cu ft, True TCGD-50

The TCGD-50 is a curved glass, “dry” display case. It has a capacity of 27.4 cubic feet and it measures 50 7/8 inches in length, 35 1/2 inches in depth, and 47 7/8 inches in height. The exterior is white laminate on the front and side panels but other colors are available at no charge, including walnut, teak, oak, beige, and black. The interior sides and top are NSF approved white aluminum with coved corners and a high impact plastic floor. The cabinet of this food display case is mounted on a heavy duty, galvanized frame rail that is dipped in rust inhibiting enamel paint for protection against corrosion and the rail is fitted with leg levers. The front is of one single pane, curved glass that is tempered for safety. The front glass tilts forward for easy cleaning and the side panels provide an extra large viewing area. There are two rear thermal glass doors that are composed of “Low-E” double pane and they have a mitered plastic channel frame. These self-closing doors slide on a stainless steel V-Channel that has stainless steel bearings. The doors of this pastry display case fit within the plastic channel frame and each is fitted with a 12 inch long molded plastic handle.

Inside the true display case there are three adjustable, heavy duty, PVC coated wire shelves which measure 44 3/8 inches in length and 22 5/23 inches in depth. This shelving system is cantilevered and the angle of the shelves can be adjusted to maximize the presentation of the baked goods. These shelves can each hold a maximum weight of 150 pounds. The cabinet can hold eight display pans that measure 18 inches in length and 26 inches in depth or four pans that measure 9 inches in length and 26 inches in depth (pans supplied by others). This glass display case has four light sources for maximum product visibility; three lights are shelf mounted and one is cabinet mounted. Special “brown bulbs” are used to provide a balanced color spectrum that enhances the appearance of the baked goods. The lights are also safety shielded to insure brighter and longer shadow-free illumination.

There are some model features on this bakery display case such as a 5 amp exterior scale receptacle and a recessed exterior light switch. It is prewired in the factory so it is ready for the connection into a 115 volt circuit, and it comes with 4 feed wires that are ready to be hardwired at the installation site.
