Description 

This VPX5 is a Vulcan Hart electric countertop convection steamer. It requires a 240 volt, 1 or 3 phase dedicated outlet or a 480 volt, 3 phase dedicated outlet. This steamer sits on four inch adjustable legs and features a 60 minute timer. It uses only 15 KWH and requires a six inch rear equipment clearance. This food steamer is designed with a heavy-duty slammable door with a latch mechanism and a three position control switch. The exterior is 304 series stainless steel and the cooking compartment is stainless steel as well. A super efficient steam generating system is in this steamer and it requires no water or drain connection. The generator pan is stainless steel and has a stamped water level line for ease of operation. The solid sheathed tubular heating elements in this cooking steamer are embedded in 1 inch thick cast aluminum and sealed to the pan bottom with a thermal transfer compound for even heat distribution.

The VPX5 has a holding capacity of 5 pans. It is UL approved and backed by a one year limited warranty on parts and labor. A second year limited warranty may be ordered, as well as stainless steel pans and pan covers. The stainless steel is high quality and should be cleaned often with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to reduce the possibility of rust and pitting.
