The HEC501 is Hobart brand electric convection oven that requires a 240 volt, 1 or 3 phase dedicated outlet or a 480 volt, 3 phase dedicated outlet. The oven interior measures 29 inches in width, 22 1/8 inches in depth, and 20 inches in height and it is constructed from steel and coated in porcelain for ease of cleaning. There is a side mounted control panel on this single deck convection oven that adjusts the temperature between 150°to 500°F and for extra safety there is an oven cool down switch for rapid cool down. The sides, front and top of this electric oven are stainless steel, as are the doors, which have windows for excellent food visibility. Inside this electric oven there are two interior lights and the top, rear, bottom, sides, and doors have non-sag insulation applied to them. There is also a ½ horsepower, two speed, oven blower motor for even baking.

To help you from burning you food products, this Hobart convection oven features a 60 minute timer with an audible alarm. It also has five oven racks and eleven oven rack positions, and you can order extra oven racks for a small fee. You can even order a stainless steel drip pan, a stainless steel back panel, or casters. This single deck electric convection cooking oven requires an adequate ventilation system and has an input of 12.5 KWH with a 240 volt, 1 or 3 phase dedicated outlet. It is NSF and UL approved and is not intended for home use.

When cooking with your commercial convection oven, be sure to thaw your food completely before cooking it for the best results, and don’t use aluminum foil in the oven because it reduces oven efficiency by affecting heat distribution. Be sure to wipe down the stainless steel on your convection oven often because food and hard water deposits can cause rust and pitting. You can clean the stainless steel with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner that is free from quaternary salts. Also, don’t forget that a clean oven cooks much better than a dirty one. Therefore, it is a very good idea to clean the inside of your oven after every use with warm soapy water. This electric restaurant oven is perfect for baked goods, juicy poultry, vegetables, and cooked casseroles. When putting baked goods in teh oven, it is a good idea to lower the temperature a bit and leave the food in the oven a little bit longer, and this will produce much higher quality breads, cakes, and cookies.
