This is True’s TRCB-96. It is a chef base that requires a 115 volt, 1 phase, 10 amp dedicated outlet and measures 95 ½ inches in length, 32 1/8 inches in depth, and 20 3/8 inches in height. Four drawers make up this refrigerated chef base, and it is NSF, UL, and CSA approved. A one year parts and labor warranty and a five year compressor warranty back this chef stand. It sits on 4 inch in diameter plate casters but six inch standard legs are optional. The four drawers in this chef stand are stainless steel on the outside and lined with white aluminum liner on the inside. They are each fitted with 12 inch long recessed handles, heavy duty stainless steel drawer slides and rollers, and magnetic door gaskets that are removable without tools. Inside each drawer of this four drawer chef base are two full length removable divider bars and each drawer can fit up to three food pans that measure 12 inches in length, 20 inches in width, and 4 inches in depth (food pans sold separately).

The exterior top of this True chef table is one piece of heavy duty, reinforced, 300 series stainless steel and the edges are drip resistant to reduce spills. Aluminum makes up the back of this table, and the exterior front and table ends are also stainless steel. NSF approved white aluminum is on the inside walls, and the interior floor is 300 series stainless steel. This entire refrigerated chef stand is insulated with CFC free polyurethane, which is foamed in place to reduce energy costs. The temperature of the drawers is held between 33°F and 38°F using CFC free 134A refrigerant. The self-contained refrigeration system has a guided airflow to provide uniform temperature to all the foods and the oversized compressor lowers energy consumption. To dissipate heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle, this True chef table has a large condenser. It also uses a cast iron evaporator fan motor that has huge fan blades and a life expectancy of 15-20 years to provide shorter run times and faster temperature recovery.

This kitchen chef base is the perfect way to utilize wasted space in busy kitchens, and it also has an exterior mounted digital temperature display. You must clean the condenser coil and the fan blades every thirty days because a dirty condenser can lead to compressor failure. The stainless steel needs to be cleaned regularly as well with a chloride free cleaner and a soft cloth to prevent the possibility of rust and pitting. Optional features are available including remote cabinets or a 16 gauge top.
