True’s TRCB-52 is a high quality refrigerated chef base. It measures 51 7/8 inches in length, 32 1/8 inches in depth, and 20 3/8 inches in height and comes with a 7 foot cord that fits into a 115 volt NEMA configured outlet. The exterior front, top, and cabinet ends of this refrigerated equipment stand are composed of stainless steel and the back is matching aluminum. The interior walls made of NSF approved white aluminum liner and there is a 300 series stainless steel floor with covered corners. The entire structure is foamed-in-place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation. The one piece top of the cabinet, which can hold up to 717 pounds, is reinforced 300 series stainless steel as well, and the plate castors are 4 inches in diameter. There are two stainless steel drawers with slides and rollers in this refrigerated equipment stand, and they can both be removed easily without tools for cleaning. These drawers can each hold up to three full sized food pans (sold separately) that measure 12 inches in length, 20 inches in width, and 4 inches in depth. Each drawer comes standard with two full length removable divider bars and both are fitted with a recessed handle that is 12 inches long and foamed-in-pace with a sheet metal interlock to insure permanent attachment.


The refrigeration system in this commercial chef base is factory engineered, uses CFC free 134A refrigerant, and has a guided airflow to provide a uniform product temperature. The extra wide evaporator coil is 1/8 inches in diameter wider than factory standards. This evaporator coil, along with a high horsepower compressor and a larger condenser, maintain the cabinet temperature at 33ºF to 38ºF. There is a one year warranty on all parts and labor and a 5 year warranty on the compressor. The evaporator fan motor in this refrigerated chef base is cast iron and works with larger fan blades to give a low velocity, high volume airflow design. This special design leads to faster temperature recovery and shorter run times, which is perfect for busy restaurants. The condenser coil dissipates heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle and the condensing unit slides out from behind the side of the grill for easy maintenance.
