The TRCB-52-60 is one of True’s chef bases, which requires a 115 volt, 10 amp, 1 phase dedicated outlet. It is foamed in place with high density, CFC free, polyurethane insulation and measures 60 inches in length, 32 1/8 inches in depth, and 20 3/8 inches in height. This refrigerated chef base uses a factory engineered, self-contained capillary tube refrigeration system that holds the temperature between 33°F and 38°F with 134A refrigerant. For uniform product temperatures, there is a guided airflow. The extra large evaporator coil is balanced with a 1/3 horsepower compressor that lowers energy consumption. There is an evaporator fan motor in this two drawer chef base that has a life expectancy of 15-20 years, and it provides fast temperature recovery and shorter run times. Also part of the refrigeration system is an oversized condenser that dissipates heat faster for a more efficient refrigeration cycle, and the condensing unit slides out easily without tools.
This True chef base is mounted on 4 inch in diameter plate casters that have locks on the front set. The interior is white aluminum with a 300 series stainless steel floor, and the exterior front and cabinet ends are stainless steel. The back is finished with matching aluminum and the top is one piece of heavy duty, 300 series stainless steel. This top has drip resistant “V” edges to protect against spills, and it can hold up to 717 lbs. Two rolling drawers make up this True chef station, and they are removable without the hassle of tools. Each drawer has a foamed-in-place 12 inch handle and magnetic door gaskets. These drawers can each hold three food pans that measure 12 inches in length, 20 inches in width, and 4 inches in depth (pans sold separately). Included with each drawer of this kitchen chef stand are two full length removable divider bars.
This stainless steel chef base is NSF, UL, and CSA approved and is backed by a one year parts and labor warranty and a five year compressor warranty. It features an exterior mounted digital temperature display for easy use. Don’t forget to clean the stainless steel regularly with a non-chloride cleaner and a soft cloth to help prevent rust and pitting. Also, clean the condenser coil and the fan blades every thirty days to lower electrical costs and minimize service expenses.
