The VCCB-72 is a Vulcan-Hart brand gas charbroiler. It is 72 inches in width, 27 ¼ inches in depth, and 13 inches in height and comes with thirteen grates. Each slanted, reversible, cast broiling grate 5 ¼ inches wide, which helps control flare ups and fat run off and also make self cleaning a breeze. The front, top-rim, sides, and grease trough on this restaurant charbroiler are stainless steel and the grease drawer is the full width of the front so it has a very large holding capacity. This radiant broiler features char-radiants and has a standing pilot ignition system and one infinite heat control valve for each burner. For extra safety, the underburner baffling system reflects heat upwards to create a cool-zone underneath the burners. This commercial charbroiler is NSF approved and uses only 185,000 BTU’s per hour and there is one 14,500 BTU’s her hour burner for each broiling grate. It comes with four inch adjustable legs and has an 8/4 inch rear gas connection with a gas pressure regulator that is included as well. There is a one year limited parts and labor warranty on this Vulcan gas broiler and optional features are available such as a plate rail, a set of four or six casters, or even a second year extended warranty on parts and labor.


This gas broiler must be installed with a six inch clearance on both sides and the rear adjacent to combustible construction. This broiler is manufactured for commercial use only and is not intended for home use. An adequate ventilation system is required for Commercial Cooking Equipment. To get the most out of your gas charbroiler you should be sure that you are using the most appropriate grate for your menu selection. Season the grates before the first time that you use them by preheating them to open the pores and then by brushing them with oil. Be sure to preheat the grates before cooking to prevent sticking and the grates should also be positioned at an angle when charbroiling to help drain the grease and give better control over heat distribution.
