The Star’s 6148-RCBD is a radiant charbroiler. This gas broiler measures 48 inches in width, 25 ¾ inches in depth, and 15 ½ inches in height. The front panel, bull nose, drip pan, splash guard and grease trough are all stainless steel. For better heat distribution, maximum sectional control and superior broiling performance this charbroiler utilizes 40,000 BTUs per hour cast iron burners. There are four reversible grates that each have their own burner. These heavy duty, cast iron, top cooking grates are reversible and can be individually positioned; one side is thin for searing food products and the other side is thick for more delicate foods. This restaurant broiler contains a large stainless steel water pan that has a big holding capacity so clean-up is a breeze. To provide excellent protection against grease and spills there is a 2 ¾ inch high tapered splash guard and the bull nose front on this gas charbroiler is cool to the touch for your protection and comfort.
Four inch adjustable legs are provided with this Star brand broiler and the side panels are made of double wall aluminized steel. The radiant are stainless steel to provide maximum heat transfer and durability. This gas charbroiler has a standing pilot ignition system and is NSF approved. It is covered by a one year warranty on parts and labor and a ¾ inch gas connection and a convertible pressure regulator is provided at no extra charge.
To keep your gas broiler in its excellent condition be sure to clean it regularly. The top cooking grates should be cleaned after every use with a wire brush and the stainless steel should be wiped down often with a soft cloth and a non-chloride cleaner.
